Sea Buckthorn Cinnamon Honey Mixture

  Ingredients in a 250g glass: 250g Bavarian-Austrian honey, 2% freeze-dried sea buckthorn (whole fruit) from controlled organic cultivation and 0.2% cinnamon.

 Ingredients in a 125g glass: 125g Bavarian-Austrian honey, 2% freeze-dried sea buckthorn (whole fruit) from controlled organic cultivation and 0.2 % cinnamon.

Because of its high vitamin C content, the plant is also called the "Lemon of the North". But also vitamins of the B-group, flavonoids, carotenoids, fruit acids, mainly malic acid, as well as fatty oil in the seeds, are contained in the sea buckthorn berry. The fruits owe their orange colour to the large quantities of carotenoids, the best known being beta-carotene and lycopene.

Cinnamon in this special mixture is mainly used to round off the taste. But cinnamon also has a firm place in folk medicine. It is said to have a disinfecting and antispasmodic, blood circulation-promoting, calming and mood-lifting effect.
