Drone larvae extract or Apilarnil (lyophilized or freeze dried) is an extract of the entire content of a 7 day old drone cell, which means the 6-7 day old drone larvae as well as their nutrients (honey, Bee bread, traces of propolis) get used.
During the production the cells get pulverized, homogenized and filtered, then freeze dried. Everybody knows the soluble coffee which needs to be drunk sometimes when there is no real coffee availableJ. Just as Royal Jelly, Apilarnil consists of two thirds (65-75%) water. The rest contains Protein, carbohydrates, lipids (fats), 19 different amino acids, apart from Betacarotin and choline the Vitamins A, E, B2, B2, B6 and minerals (calcium, phosphorus, sodium, potassium and magnesium) and trace elements.
